Identity Access Management
The ASU UTO/GPIS Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for enterprise policies, compliance standards, and business processes that define user identities and enforce rules that govern access to ASU digital services and technical resources. Our team manages the identity life-cycle that includes the creation and authorization process that determines which systems an authenticated user is permitted to access.
Courtesy Affiliate Program
The Courtesy Affiliate Program at ASU was founded to provide access and services to individuals who are either not employed by ASU, or not in the ASU student lifecycle (e.g. applied student, enrolled student, alum). Sub affiliation type(s) were developed to provide affiliated users access to ASU’s enterprise applications and services. The resources granted to the sub-affiliation types are based on the needs of the population, and any resource considerations like licensing costs, data security and resources availability. This program also includes faculty and staff pre-hire statuses in order to facilitate their transition to ASU employment, and certain visiting or non-standard student populations in order to provide them with certain educational technology services.
